Survival And Victory After Global Extinction (S.A.V.A.G.E.) is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game that takes place hundreds of years after the end of the world. S.A.V.A.G.E. is designed for the more experienced role-players, as the combat system is very detailed, meant to be much more of a realistic game engine than what you would find in other RPGs. To those that prefer a lighter system, it should be noted that it is very easy to customize your own house rules without losing any of the key aspects of the games.
Essentials is the 89 page free version of S.A.V.A.G.E. It includes everything you need to run your own game, including a character sheet, but is streamlined to pretty much the rules only. There is minimal artwork, basic layout, and does not include a campaign setting, bestiary, or starter adventure that is included in the full version.
Why am I giving away years of hard work you might ask? First, I am very proud of this particular game, and second, my desire is to share my work. I do sell a full version as well as other products, but any revenue from that is used to go directly back into more products and options for you as the gamer. For those that either do not want, or do not have the money, I want to give you this free product which has all you need for the game.
